Equine experiences for the Elderly: For 14 years, Tater Tot, the miniature horse with the huge heart, has been making weekly bedside visits to residents of Discovery Care nursing home. His visits often prompt residents to remember and share their past experiences with horses. On occasion, Tater has pulled their wheelchairs down the hall or a resident has ridden in his cart during one of the parades. He will retire in July 2012 and will be honored at the 2012 Cowboy Ball along with his team of assistants. Ginny and Ken Beller have provided loving care for Tater for many years. Lady Louise, another darling miniature from Personal Ponies, will begin travelling with Tater Tot this spring to learn the ropes.
